Biography

Daniel Catota coordinates the development work that Community Evolution supports in Sigchos, Ecuador. He guides community associations in the region to promote their development through co-operative and sustainable productive activities. His work includes supporting our Ecuadorian local partners to improve their capacities and access to capital, and build alliances.

Daniel is an agroindustrial engineer with several years of experience in food production processes, quality control in production lines and design of productive projects with environmental-friendly activities.

Daniel is fully committed to finding and encouraging young entrepreneurs to lead their communities and developing Sigchos as a reference for co-operative development in Ecuador and South America.
