Canada
Overview

Our partners in Canada dedicate their attention to growing food that is safe and healthy. Besides working to protect the land, they create income-generating opportunities for local communities. From Salt Spring Island and Victoria to Haida Gwaii, our team is always considering how we can best help diverse communities across British Columbia thrive.
The Government of Canada is committed to supporting the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Canada and internationally. Through our partnerships we’re primarily contributing to SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and supporting community-based enterprises that contribute to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
